October 26 Sobbing in Church ServicesHave you ever been to a church service and while singing praise to God, just felt tears form in your eyes? Many times while in services, worshipping our awesome God, I've felt this emotional feeling stirring in the very depths of my heart and the only explanation I can come up with is, the Great Comforter, that Jesus Christ spoke of is reaching into my soul and pulling out that unconditional love for God that can only be achieved through sincerity in praise to Father God. I believe that when you are in deep consious meditatation, focused on worshipping an awesome God, who is mighty to save, that the Holy Ghost or as Jesus describes, the Great Comforter is touching your heart and really putting the lights of love on to your christian conviction. This is causing a stirring of emotions unfamiliar to the fleshly human part of me. There is no fear in the recieving of the comforting love that a Wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ gives to you and me freely. It is a beautiful feeling to know that there is a God who will always love us and never forsake us. We can be assured of this unfailing love just by praising Him and communicating to Him our faults, our hopes and dreams, our needs, which He already knows about and in faith just trusting and obeying His every word!
So whenever you feel this overwhelming sensation of human emotion while worshipping the Lord Almighty, just know that this emotional event is a joyous one and is provided by God to let you know, He is still there and always will be, and He is inviting you to stay with Him and never give up hope.
The tears are His way of saying be happy my child, for one day, you shall be with me!
Thank you Almighty and Wonderful God for all you do in my life, I am truly nothing without You! |
